The Woodshop membership is a diverse group of men and women that have a wide range of experience ranging from novice and knowing little about woodworking, to people that have worked with wood most of their adult lives. All sorts of wood working is done in the woodshop including building cabinets, birdhouses, game boards, canoes, fireplace mantels, wooden bowls, platters and pens turned on wood lathes. If it is made of wood, it has probably been made in the Carriage Manor Woodshop.
Woodshop is a great place to let your creative side out. Members have a great facility to make a wide variety of wood projects from things as small as a lathe-turned pen to as big as storage cabinets and computer desks. Whatever your mind can come up with, you can probably find the tools and the help to get it made.
To become a member of the Woodshop Club, simply visit the Woodshop located at the southwest corner of the Fitness Center Building and fill out a form.
Membership dues are $25 and locker fee is $20 if one is wanted. Our hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Come to the Woodshop any time we are open, and we will show you around and show you what equipment we have for members to use.
